Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th October: Spooky season and more baking!

On Saturday, our students took a trip to a local ‘Pick Your Own’ Farm to pick some Pumpkins in time for Spooky season! This trip enjoyed by all year groups got everyone into the Autumnal spirit.

After some seasonal hot drinks and treats, we brought 20 pumpkins home to Boarding, ready to be carved in the upcoming week!

Sunday brought a lot of students going to Can You Dance? A Super Dance convention hosted in Liverpool, boasting a range of exciting exhibitions, classes, and fun. The Hammond hosted it’s own stand and many of our students entering competition and succeeding in their classes.

Meanwhile back in Chester saw lots of baking at Kingsley Lodge. Many Year 11 students were baking in preparation for the upcoming ASDAN Bake Sale, which saw Pearl making a beautiful chocolate Malteser cake. Miss Lu made some chocolate chip banana bread along with Rio and Liv and were very proud of the outcome!
