It has been wonderful to welcome all of our wonderful Boarders back with open arms for the start of the new term and indeed 2022!
After a long first week back of academics, dance and theatre, needless to say, everyone was exhausted! However this did not stop the energy of all the boarders, making the most of lost time with their friends over the Christmas period!
After Saturday classes, the only first week back activity that seemed fitting was decorating biscuits which went down a treat! Led by Miss Babs, everyone used icing and sprinkles to decorate their cookies, which led to a lot of excitement around ten minutes after due to a wonderful sugar rush!
On Sunday due to an unusually fortunate weather forecast, Miss Carla led a walk into the Countess of Chester Park for many of the students which they all enjoyed as they found many hidden treasures on the way around!
Over the weekend, the older students made the most of their time back together by visiting town and going out for meals together! Lots of New Years resolutions plans were formalised by students joining the gym for weekend group exercise classes, and lots of self-care items purchased. Two of our Senior girls Lily and Eve even went to Build-A-Bear to bring home a new, fluffy, emotional support toy!
It is so fantastic to have everyone back together at the Boarding Houses after a restful break.
