Spring Week 7: Pancakes and Sunshine!

It was the much anticipated Holiday of the year on Tuesday... Pancake Day! Our students very much enjoyed learning how t make pancakes, and use cooking equipment safely to make delicious treats for themselves. Topping ranged through all kinds of chocolate spreads and sauces! Not too much fruit to be seen today!

A collection for the appeal for Ukraine, a country rampaged by unsettlement and war at the moment was conducted amongst our Boarders. Items were collected and dropped at a local church who are sending on donations to the people of Ukraine and our Boarders were aware if the huge impact this will have on those communities.

On the weekend, the students made the most of the spare time with a shop into town filled with iced coffees, retail therapy and relaxation outside. On Sunday, the students were eagerly anticipating a trip into a local park to play football and really enjoy the beautiful weather of Chester for this one-off occasion before it returns to it's usual state of rain next week!
