Welcome to our Hammond Boarding Family! Our Ethos here at boarding, replicates that of The Hammond School, focusing on personal growth and development and learning key aspects of adult life such as self-care, respect for others and social awareness.

Our first week has been a huge success, firstly, by welcoming the new members of the Family on Monday. It was wonderful to see so many new faces and newly decorated rooms, before roommates and returners arrived on Tuesday. It was nothing short of a pleasure to have all our houses back together. On Monday evening, the President and the Vice President took great pleasure in showing all our new students around the grounds of the School, before they were taken in to the theatre for some team building games.

The evening ended with a delicious meal at school before heading off to bed after an exciting day. Whilst our new Boarders explored Chester on Tuesday morning, our returners began to arrive back, with more smiles than ever before (and more bags!)

This left all our students ready for a bright and early start on Wednesday.
