Alexia's Bracelets & Keyrings

We want to take a moment to acknowledge a very special project Alexia in Year 8 has been undertaking during lockdown! Due to injury, Alexia has unfortunately been unable to fully participate in classes, but has instead diverted her attentions and turned this time into something positive...

Using her own pocket money, Alexia has bought jewellery making kits to create pieces of jewellery to sell in an effort to fundraise for Frontline Workers and MIND Charity. In the last four weeks Alexia has completed over 80 orders raising over £300!

As summer draws near, Alexia would like to extend her efforts and if you wish to purchase a keyring or a bracelet for £5, please email erin.royle@thehammondschool.co.uk and we will pass on your order to Alexia's mum! She'll just need the measurement of your wrist so it fits well!

Alexia's resilience, and the way she has reacted to her injury and the struggles of lockdown make us feel incredibly proud and privileged to have her as a member of The Hammond!
