George-Murray Nightingale Online Classes

As lockdown began, a number of The Hammond's alumni immediately got in touch to offer their time and expertise to help out our current students. George-Murray Nightingale, a former Lower School Dance student of The Hammond is now a dancer with the Australian Ballet, is one such member of the alumni. We are proud, not only of the performers we train but the type of people we get to work with. George-Murray has taken to The Hammond Instagram and has delivered classes on Zoom over the lockdown period and we can't thank him enough for his time! HIs success is such an inspiration to current students.

George-Murray Nightingale was born in Manchester, England. He studied at Kathleen Atherton’s Academy of Dance, in Leigh; The Hammond School, in Chester; and the English National Ballet School. He has danced with English National Ballet, the National Ballet of Romania and the Royal Ballet of Flanders. He joined The Australian Ballet in 2017.
